Hand-finished carbon steel Nigiri Hasami (thread snips), forged in the traditional metalworking city of Ono, Japan by the craftspeople of Misuzu Hasami. Elegant one piece design. Extremely sharp, precise and durable!

Each comes with a veg-tanned* leather sheath in various color options. Each sheath is made from discarded leather scraps and individually hand-sewn by Doug.

*Vegetable tanning is an ancient, time-intensive process that uses tannins like oak bark to preserve the hide’s natural variations. Because it is free from heavy metals and petroleum derivatives, it may darken in the sun and pick up water spots. Bright colors may fade.
