But this one's a special one, for two reasons: 1) we added an interior pocket, and 2) it's been oiled to give it a little protection from the elements.

Leather: a veg-tanned* leather from the Tempesti Tannery in Tuscany, Italy, and hand-embossed with our logo.

Rivets: the straps are hand-riveted using classic copper rivets

Snaps: high-quality YKK copper spring snaps

 *Vegetable tanning is an ancient, time-intensive process that uses tannins like oak bark to preserve the hide’s natural variations. Because it is free from heavy metals and petroleum derivatives, it may darken in the sun and pick up water spots. Bright colors may fade.
