Log Carrier

When we lived in our 1947 Spartan Manor travel trailer, we needed an easy way to carry wood from outside to the tiny wood stove that kept us warm. We improvised a pattern on the fly and quickly sewed up a carrier that served us well. We recently updated the design—and embiggened it for standard wood stoves.

Our Log Carrier is made from strong Army surplus cotton duck canvas in a cool grey, and sturdy hickory wood dowels, which were sanded and finished by hand with beeswax.
