We like things tactile here at Spartan Made. Iron. Tools. Leather. Canvas. Linen. And: sharing the making process behind our goods, even unto the virtual realms. To wit: we’re making ourselves a web shop. We’re gonna try to code into it the feel of our (former and soon to be again) brick-and-mortar. Until we can code scent and texture and ambience into HTML, we’ll have to work with images and text and hope our evocation skills are sharp enough.
Our goal is to get our webshop running ASAP so we can escape the wormhole of the Etsy algorithm and bring our work directly to you, our customers and great supporters of the not-quite-yet-lost art of American craft.
